The National Kitchen and Bath Association reports lighter-colored quartz countertops with slab or long subway backsplashes will be a kitchen design trend for 2021 and the next few years. Additionally some of the strongest kitchen and bath trends this year have been:
- L-shaped kitchens with large islands will dominate for layouts.
- Organic/Natural styles for both kitchens and baths are rising quickly in popularity, as Traditional falls out of favor.
- Dedicated areas for device charging/viewing and bidets/smart toilets are leading kitchen and bath additions.
